Year-Round Volunteer Opportunities
Local Pop-Ups, Community Events, Out-of-Town Events & Conventions
Volunteers may assist SageFen in a variety of ways, including:
- Supporting make-and-take classes by teaching a skill or assisting instructors and participants
- Helping with event setup, breakdown, and general event operations
- Staffing information tables and engaging with attendees
- Assisting with booth or class support at events and conventions
- Providing general support as needed during SageFen appearances throughout the year
SageFen Maker Fest IV Volunteer & Teaching Opportunities
SageFen Maker Fest IV will take place April 10–12, 2026 at the Richland Riverfront Hotel
Volunteers may assist SageFen in a variety of ways, including:
- Teaching a class or workshop as a SageFen Sage
- Festival setup and teardown for SageFen Maker Fest
- Supporting vendors in the Marketplace and checking in with instructors
- Assisting at the Merchandise and/or Information Desks
- Helping in the Green Room
- Participating in The Watch
Volunteer Membership Benefits
- Returning Volunteers (those who volunteered a minimum of 8 hours at the previous Maker Fest) are eligible for a complimentary membership for the current Maker Fest.
- New Volunteers are eligible for a discounted membership rate of $25.
